As you scroll down through your Facebook, you see ads for everything, like photographers, job postings, and games you can play online with your friends. This is a great to get your business started. You can make a page on Facebook specifically for your business. This is an amazing way to get started on your advertisements for free. That way you can save the majority of your money for the manufacture of your product.

I have a friend that works for the Blue Buffalo dog food company. She stands in their section at pet stores around where she lives, and just tells people about their type of dog food and how it is better for your dogs. This seems like a great marketing idea. It's kind of like the people you see on the side of the street waving signs to get people into their place of business. Blue Buffalo definitely made a smart move there, if you ask me. Some people might blow her off, but some might genuinely be interested in the dog food and how it can help keep their dogs healthy and fit. Sounds to me like a great way to boost sales.

Chicken Fry Epidemic

I went to Burger King today to purchase a meal of their famous chicken fries for my younger sister. I pulled up to order and realized they were sold out. I bought her some nuggets instead, and asked the employee at the window why they had run out of chicken fries. She stated that the corporate office did not order enough from the distributor. They had only received two shipments and those two shipments were supposed to last until November.

The company has underestimated the demand for chicken fries, yet I still see ads, commercials, and hear radio commercials telling the world that chicken fries are back. There must have been a better way to decide how many chicken fries to ship and to which cities to send them too. Maybe a quick questionnaire or a survey customers could do while waiting for their food. It seems that you must understand the demand for a product before you can supply it to the world.
